About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Hope House in Slough. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/Manager
  • Conduct initial and continuous assessments of needs and potential risks, and agree levels of support and actions
  • Develop and maintain links with key agencies and service providers in the local community
  • Empower customers to access the services and benefits they are entitled to
  • Undertake all administrative work and maintain accurate and comprehensive records
About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support, and who is able to work effectively as part of a team. You will be a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and external agencies.

Requirements
  • Up to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Experience working in the social care or charity sector
  • Desirable: experience working in mental health
