Sanctuary Supported Living is pleased to announce an opening for a Support Services Coordinator within our Homelessness Assistance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating support to empower clients who have experienced homelessness to achieve their personal goals and independence
  • Conducting assessments of client needs and maintaining up-to-date support plans
  • Serving as the primary contact for client inquiries and directing them appropriately
  • Building strong relationships with clients to ensure their choices, privacy, and dignity are respected
  • Collaborating with external support services to enhance clients' confidence, health, and well-being, while providing guidance towards employment and educational opportunities
  • Managing occasional crisis situations with professionalism
  • Maintaining accurate and high-quality documentation

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with adults who have faced homelessness
  • A positive and adaptable mindset with a proactive approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
  • Strong organizational capabilities alongside functional literacy and numeracy
  • Capacity to respond swiftly to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or a commitment to pursue this qualification is essential
