About the Role

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Programme Support Officer to join our Health Inequalities team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of projects that address health inequity in the Northern Devon area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans to ensure successful project delivery
  • Coordinate projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including community groups, organisational partners, and colleagues
  • Support the development of project plans, coordinate projects, and connect with local people, organisational partners, and colleagues to engage, join up, or transform how services are delivered
  • Recruit and support local people to take the lead in the Poverty Truth Commission process
  • Work autonomously and undertake a wide variety of tasks, including communicating with stakeholders, assisting with planning, organising meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and contributing to online collaboration portals
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, coordination, and delivery
  • Experience of working with community groups and stakeholders
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
