Position Overview
The Clinical Appointment Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing and executing the comprehensive range of administrative and scheduling tasks for the Clinical Management Centre, ensuring compliance with Patient Access Policy and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
As an integral member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on enhancing patient health outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service to all patients and accurately documenting information in the electronic healthcare record.
- Coordinating all outpatient appointments for both new and returning patients, adhering to specialty-specific booking protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Maximizing the utilization of available clinic slots to ensure efficient scheduling.
Work Schedule
This position offers a substantive role with a specified number of hours per week, as well as a fixed-term opportunity available at 30 hours per week.
