Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Newbery Recycling Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our site, coordinating weighbridge operations, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers and complete weighbridge operations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate the daily activities of the site, ensuring all staff job roles are completed and that the site is running smoothly.
- Monitor and enforce the company's Health and Safety policy on site, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Promote all services offered by Newbery Recycling Limited, including waste management and recycling solutions.
- Implement an effective traffic management plan for the site, ensuring minimal disruption to customers and staff.
- Monitor daily production of materials for sale, ensuring high-quality products are produced and sold.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on materials ready for sale, ensuring they meet the company's standards.
- Review and update safe working procedures regularly, ensuring the site remains compliant with all relevant regulations.
- Supervise the team, providing guidance and support to ensure staff have the motivation and training to deliver high levels of performance.
- Complete all necessary technical competence assessments for site operations, ensuring the site remains compliant with all relevant regulations.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm.
Salary
£35,000 per annum.
