Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients, equipment, and medical supplies within our hospital facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Transfer patients in a safe and dignified manner, utilizing a range of transportation methods including wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, and healthcare staff, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient transfers and transportation, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Assist in the transfer of critically injured patients from ambulances or helicopters to the Accident and Emergency department.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of patients and families, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Respect for patients' dignity and privacy, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- A competitive hourly rate of £20.95.
- A 30-hour per week schedule, with 5 days of work per week.
- A full UK driving license is required for this role.
