About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at NHS Professionals Limited. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in our acute and general settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' conditions by taking vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and weight.
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
  • Ensure that patients are the prime focus when making decisions about their care and well-being, respecting their dignity and human rights.
  • Assist patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living, promoting independence and autonomy.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience as a Care Support Worker in an acute hospital or hospice setting within the last 2 years.
  • Completion of the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification, such as a QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services or a Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
