About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our patients on their journey to better health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist in the recovery and recuperation of patients, helping them to regain their independence and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible outcomes.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the growth and success of our team.
Requirements
  • No previous experience or qualifications are required, just a desire to deliver excellent patient care and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Ability to work a range of shift patterns, including short shifts, day shifts, and 12.5 hour day and night shifts.
  • Minimum contracted hours of 23 hours per week, up to 37.5 hours per week.
  • Basic salary: £23,615 to £25,674 per annum pro rata, with additional enhancements to your pay depending on your shift pattern and working hours.
