About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our critical care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the assessment of care needs and the delivery of planned care under delegation and direction of the registered nurse or Nurse Associate.
  • Record and document physiological observations and changes to the patients clinical condition, ECG, supporting therapy and rehab practices and undertake vena-puncture.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.

  • Experience of working within the acute setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
