Job Summary

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our Adult Critical Care team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the assessment of care needs and the delivery of planned care under the delegation and direction of the registered nurse or Nurse Associate.

Main Responsibilities

  • Record and document physiological observations and changes to patients' clinical conditions
  • Support therapy and rehabilitation practices
  • Undertake venipuncture
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • Experience of working in an acute setting
  • Ability to work under the delegation and direction of the registered nurse or Nurse Associate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
