Overview

We are pleased to present an opportunity for a knowledgeable and experienced Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator.

In this role, you will engage with various Criminal Justice environments, including courts, probation offices, and correctional facilities, depending on service demands. Your duties will encompass conducting ATR and DRR evaluations, overseeing the prison release procedures, assisting individuals on probation, coordinating with judicial entities, and managing voluntary referrals from law enforcement. You may also participate in group facilitation activities. Your specific responsibilities and areas of focus within the Criminal Justice sector will be allocated based on service needs. This position necessitates strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail in data management.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Comprehensive Support: Engage with service users through psychosocial interventions aimed at reducing disengagement, harm, and related criminal behaviors. Holistic Care: Perform screenings, assessments, recovery planning, and referrals to ensure that every individual receives the necessary support. Community Health: Strive to mitigate drug and alcohol-related harm not only to our service users but also to the broader community. Inclusive Participation: Encourage involvement from caregivers, service users, and the community, ensuring that all voices are acknowledged. Advocate for Improvement: Assist service users in accessing vital partnership services. Empower Individuals: Support social (re)integration, fostering recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.

About You:

Compassionate and Insightful: A solid understanding of substance misuse challenges and experience in related fields. Effective Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in IT. Proactive and Organized: Ability to take initiative, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
