We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee the management of our company's financial operations.
This is a new role reporting directly to the Directors and will form part of the Senior Management Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly and quarterly accounts.
• Developing and managing the annual budget, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
• Monitoring and managing cash flow, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Leading and managing a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the accounts function.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Collaborating with the Audit team to ensure a smooth audit process.
• Preparing and presenting end-of-year accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
**Requirements:**
• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified, or equivalent professional certification.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or equivalent, with a strong track record of financial management and leadership.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
