Train System Engineer - Mechanical HVAC Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Train System Engineer to join our team in the Mechanical HVAC Systems domain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems for our train projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and specify HVAC system requirements for current and future projects
  • Develop and implement HVAC control and performance requirements for sub-suppliers
  • Support integration design and ensure static and running performance of HVAC systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions for the Derby project portfolio

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering degree and/or relevant professional certification
  • Proven experience in rolling stock HVAC systems, with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify solutions
