{"h3": "About the Role", "p": "We are seeking a skilled Train System Engineer to join our team in Derby. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for the development of Train level HVAC specifications, utilizing existing solutions from Alstom\u2019s portfolio and identifying any developments required. You will work closely with our multi-disciplined teams and collaborate across the Engineering team and with wider stakeholders to deliver technical solutions for the Derby project portfolio.

Your key responsibilities will include identifying potential HVAC solutions from higher level and broader overall train requirements, supporting verification of equipment and assembly for first in class, and identifying how requirements can be verified through the V cycle including multiple layers of calculation, modelling, static and on track testing.

You will also be responsible for reporting verification data to demonstrate compliance to standards to approvals bodies and customers.

We are looking for a candidate with a Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or suitably accredited with an applicable professional Institution, with proven track record and engineering experience in rolling stock HVAC systems, multiple years of experience, and the ability to collaborate in a multi-location team.
