Position Overview

This role is a Fixed term contract or secondment for 23 Months.

An exciting opportunity has emerged at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust for a dedicated and skilled Financial Services Accountant to become a part of the Management Accounts Team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the Deputy Finance Business Partner within the Research & Innovation Network of the Management Accounts team, ensuring that stakeholders receive comprehensive financial support and guidance, including the delivery of precise, relevant, and timely financial data.

Candidates should demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership abilities, along with a strong commitment to outstanding service delivery. A creative and innovative mindset is essential, with the capability and willingness to suggest improvements to operational practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver management accountancy services, ensuring the provision of relevant, accurate, and timely financial advice and information.

- Maintain an up-to-date and precise financial overview concerning the areas under your purview.

- Collaborate with the Deputy Finance Business Partner and Finance Business Partner to furnish high-quality Strategic/Operational financial information for both internal and external reporting.
