Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at First Recruitment Services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our contractors, associates, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK legislation.
  • Develop and implement tailored safety programs to meet the specific needs of our clients.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) and risk assessments to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in UK health and safety legislation and regulations.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent in Health and Safety.
  • Proven experience in a similar Health and Safety role, preferably in a recruitment or staffing agency.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive annual salary of up to £43,000.
