We're looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join our management team at our Bognor resort.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Drive the focus on safety culture and support initiatives that reinforce our H&S vision and strategy.
- Monitor that teams have been provided suitable and sufficient training in respect to safety and risk.
- Provide direction, guidance, coaching, and development to resort management and leaders to drive forward their H&S programmes/improvements.
- Ensure good reporting, investigation, recording, and analysis of injury accidents, dangerous occurrences, near-miss incidents, and work-related ill health are monitored and documented.
- Support both Resort and Head Office on all aspects of H&S reports and procedures, including upcoming legislation changes and best practice.
- Manage both internal teams and external service providers to ensure full compliance with all H&S policies.
- Oversee all team activities within the department, including recruitment, performance, and team development.
**Requirements:**
- Experience as a Health and Safety Manager in a similar environment.
- Credible background in a guest-facing operation.
- Knowledge and experience of H&S legislation.
- Strong skills in formulating and reviewing Health and Safety plans.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and engage teams, even at periods of high demand.
- Flexible approach to shift patterns.
