The Role
We're seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join our management team at our Bognor resort. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving our health and safety strategy, monitoring departments to ensure they're meeting our high standards, and providing direction and guidance to our resort management and leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement our health and safety strategy, ensuring it's aligned with our business objectives.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to our team on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with our resort management and leaders to drive forward their health and safety programs and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager with a strong operational background. You'll need to have a credible track record in a similar environment, with a deep understanding of health and safety legislation and regulations. You'll also need to be able to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even in high-pressure situations.
Requirements
- General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
- NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
- Flexible approach to shift patterns.
