As a vital member of our team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safety and security of residents at a National Probation Service Approved Premises (AP). Your responsibilities will encompass providing security, welfare, and monitoring services to maintain a secure environment for all.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular inspections and patrols throughout the premises.
  • Observing and managing the behavior of high-risk residents.
  • Ensuring the building is secured during designated curfew periods and confirming the safety and presence of residents overnight.
  • Promoting a safe working atmosphere for staff, residents, and visitors by adhering to Health and Safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Managing visitor interactions and telephone communications, as well as overseeing the activities of visiting contractors.
  • Responding effectively to any instances of abusive or aggressive behavior.

  • An SIA Security Guarding Licence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
