Casual Homeless Accommodation Officer

Join North Lanarkshire Council in a challenging and rewarding role as a Casual Homeless Accommodation Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Estate Officers, maintaining staff rotas, and ensuring continuity of our excellent service to tenants and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of Estate Officers to ensure effective service delivery
- Maintain staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage
- Respond to emergency situations as required
- Assist with service provision in relation to estate services, temporary homeless accommodation, and tower and concierge services
- Work collaboratively with the Housing Co-ordinator and other teams to achieve service goals
Requirements:
- SVQ3, HNC, or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
- Extended period of work experience in a housing or security environment
- Desirable: experience of working with community groups, knowledge of CCTV systems, and training in customer care and health and safety
Working Pattern:
4 on, 4 off - day/night shift pattern
Day shift: 7am – 7pm
Night shift: 7pm – 7am
