Monitoring Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our Community Safety Unit as a Monitoring Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe environment for residents and visitors to North Lanarkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and assistance to the public on anti-social behaviour and out-of-hours homeless services
- Operate CCTV monitoring systems to ensure public safety
- Respond to a variety of circumstances, working as part of a team to resolve issues
- Provide professional customer service, resolving customer enquiries and complaints efficiently
- Input data to relevant systems, assist in information collation, and produce reports
Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a secure, controlled environment
- Flexibility to deal with sensitive situations and remain calm under pressure
- Knowledge of North Lanarkshire geographical area and CCTV systems (desirable)
- Experience of working in a call centre background (desirable)

Terms and Conditions
Please note that as a casual worker, you will not be guaranteed a fixed number of hours per week and will only receive payment for hours worked. You will also be required to obtain an SIA Licence, which includes a full police check, shortly after commencement in post.
