We are seeking a Collections Customer Service Advisor to join our contemporary contact centre. Our facility is conveniently located, easily accessible by public transport, and surrounded by various shops and cafes. Our operational hours are from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. Following the completion of training, we also provide a Hybrid working policy.
Availability for a mandatory two-week training program is required.
The primary objective of this role is to deliver outstanding customer service while acting as a brand ambassador. Additional responsibilities include:
- Engaging with customers through phone calls, emails, and web chats, ensuring their needs are met within specified timeframes.
- Guiding customers through the debt management process, securing payments, establishing debt repayment plans, and providing education on available support until resolution.
- Aiming for first contact resolution whenever possible, minimizing customer effort.
- Identifying vulnerable customers and offering tailored support to address their needs.
About You:
- Experience in customer-facing roles is essential; experience in a collections environment is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine desire to assist others.
- A strong team player who is motivated to meet deadlines and achieve team objectives.
- Excellent listening and communication abilities, with a talent for building relationships.
- Flexible and adaptable, demonstrating empathy towards customers.

- Competitive starting salary of £24,806, increasing to £26,460 after the probationary period.
