Job Summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced nurse to join our team as a Staff Nurse in our Vaccine Hubs. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our vaccination program.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead Vaccination Teams
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of vaccination teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Provide Clinical Care
    • Assess patients and administer vaccines in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
    • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Manage Shifts and Teams
    • Take charge of shifts, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication among team members.
    • Lead by example, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Maintain Records and Confidentiality
    • Accurately maintain patient records, adhering to data protection and confidentiality protocols.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Training
    • Complete national training programs for Covid vaccination, including anaphylaxis management and basic life support.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues
    • Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and support staff.

Requirements

  • Essential:
    • Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC.
    • Post-Registration clinical experience, preferably in a vaccination setting.
  • Desirable:
    • Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
    • ILS Certification or equivalent.
