We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Macmillan Unit as a Staff Nurse. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced team to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic nursing care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, including those undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in oncology nursing.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
- Experience of working in a cancer care environment, preferably in a Macmillan Unit
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- A supportive and collaborative work environment
