About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Macmillan Unit as a Staff Nurse. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced team to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic nursing care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, including those undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in oncology nursing.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a cancer care environment, preferably in a Macmillan Unit
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
