Job Title: Service Desk Operator

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is seeking an exceptional Service Desk Operator to join their team. As a key member of the Service Desk team, you will be responsible for managing calls from internal staff and providing first-line technical support investigations.

About the Role:

This exciting and varied role will put you at the forefront of delivering innovative technology within GMP, an organisation that is developing its IT capacity and is a dynamic, fun place to work. You will be at the heart of keeping Greater Manchester safe and will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid role, with a mix of office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage calls from internal staff and provide first-line technical support investigations
  • Work collaboratively with the Service Desk Team Leader to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of GMP's IT systems and processes
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal staff
