About the Role

The National Specialty Advisor will provide clinical advice and leadership to drive transformation of services for patients within the Heart and Lung Transplant Transformation Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical advice to support the commissioning and quality improvement of pathways at a national level.
  • Lead the development of tools and approaches to enable change within the English Cardiothoracic Transplant centres.
  • Be accountable for certain programme workstreams, their deliverables and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the definition of programme outcome measures by which clinicians and patients recognise services should be judged.
  • Contribute to wider work across the Heart & Lung transplant programme as required.

  • Collaboration: Please describe one or two detailed examples that best demonstrate your experience of collaborative leadership.
