Job Title: National Specialty Advisory
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Specialty Advisory to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert advice to the National Clinical Director and Regional leads on operational issues within the field of Acute Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong clinical leadership and support for IUEC services in the region, and nationally when required.
- Offer advice on longer-term strategic issues within the field of Acute Medicine.
- Review and provide advice to individual systems, trusts, or other organizations as needed.
- Provide a healthy challenge for IUEC across the Region and of urgent care systems with the common aim of improving patient care, experience, and staff experience.
- Act as a member of the National Clinical Leads Group (NCLG) for IUEC, serving as a conduit for the dissemination of information to and from clinical colleagues as appropriate.
- Uphold high standards of professional behavior, integrity, and courtesy, always acting in the best interests of patients.
- Develop strong relationships and provide support to the acute medicine service leads at acute trust level.
- Act as the conduit from board to ward, responsible for delivering and promoting strategy and innovation, and supporting operational excellence in the Sector.
- Work with a range of data, facts, and situations, often requiring detailed analysis and interpretation, making decisions on the most appropriate approach.
Requirements:
