Interpath Advisory is looking for a seasoned Senior Manager to become a vital part of our Financial Advisory Services team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our executive leadership to manage intricate Financial Advisory projects and spearhead business development initiatives, including the creation and presentation of marketing content and thought leadership.
The Financial Advisory Services team provides comprehensive support to Corporates, Lenders, Investors, and Other Stakeholders, delivering high-level advisory services in critical stressed and distressed scenarios across various Financial Advisory mandates. This position offers the chance to significantly impact our clients by tackling complex issues in a dynamic environment. Our team assists clients throughout the entire process, both domestically and internationally, across multiple service lines, including:
- Comprehensive financial advisory
- Short-term liquidity and crisis cash management
- Assessment and analysis of business plans
- Independent Business Reviews (IBRs)
- Identification and evaluation of strategic options
- Management and stabilization of internal and external stakeholders
- Contingency planning
- Advisory on distressed asset mergers and acquisitions, including buy/sell-side due diligence
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily execution of complex Financial Advisory mandates across diverse industries and sectors, both nationally and internationally.
- Manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, including leading negotiations and engaging with key stakeholders (management teams, lenders, shareholders, and other advisors).
- Serve as a mentor and coach to foster the development of junior team members.
- Collaborate with the broader leadership team to identify and cultivate business opportunities, including the preparation and delivery of pitches and marketing materials.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with existing and prospective work providers (lenders, multipliers, shareholders), enhancing business opportunities for the firm.
- Ensure effective management of risks and issues, escalating when necessary.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Senior Manager position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a credit-focused role (Financial Advisory Services, Investment Banking, Credit Analysis, or similar).
- Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities, taking ownership of overall project delivery and delegating effectively to meet tight deadlines, budget constraints, and high-quality standards.
- Experience managing key stakeholder relationships (senior management teams, lenders, and other senior stakeholders).
- Proven negotiation skills in complex situations involving senior-level stakeholders.
- A relevant professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent). Insolvency qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
- A robust understanding of the market and current developments.
