Job Title: Learning Support Professional

Location: Portslade

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Professional to work with pupils in KS2 with special educational needs. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children who require additional support and will be able to bring optimism and a positive attitude to the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with pupils in KS2 with special educational needs
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure consistent support for students

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a classroom setting
  • SEN experience, particularly with Autism
  • Excellent behavior management skills
  • Calm, caring, and resilient
  • Ability to work as part of a team
