Job Overview

Are you prepared to make a meaningful contribution at Valeo Foods? We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to become an integral part of our team, providing support to our confectionery production facilities.

In your role as the Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a vital role within our Operations HR team, collaborating closely with the Head of Operations for Confectionery and assisting Factory General Managers. Your primary objective will be to deliver practical, business-oriented, and employee-centric guidance, fostering employee engagement and facilitating change to ensure our teams achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Leadership: Offer specialized advice and support to site management teams, utilizing an influential approach to coach business leaders in making sound people management choices.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior management to provide HR solutions that align with business goals, promoting high-quality, productive, and innovative services across your sites.
  • Cultural Change Management: Spearhead initiatives focused on cultural development and change management across your sites, driving ongoing improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Project Management: Engage in and lead projects aimed at enhancing operational practices and implementing business transformations.
  • Relationship Development: Cultivate and sustain effective relationships with operational stakeholders to comprehend their needs and deliver appropriate HR responses.
  • Coaching and Mentorship: Guide and mentor managers on HR policies, procedures, and practices, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills for effective performance.
  • HR Strategy Development: Contribute to the formulation of the HR strategy and the continuous enhancement of HR systems and processes.

Qualifications

Personal Attributes:

  • Demonstrated HR experience in demanding environments.
  • Commercially astute with robust analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong influencing and facilitation skills.
  • Adept at building relationships grounded in transparency, integrity, and respect.
  • Disciplined in thought processes, decision-making, and follow-through.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Preferably degree-educated or evidence of strong academic performance, CIPD Level 5.
  • Experience in an FMCG setting or similar.
  • Prior senior HR operational experience.
  • Experience collaborating with unions is advantageous.
