Job Description

Creo, a leading cultural organization, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join its team on a maternity cover basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Photo London, a premier international photography fair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the organization and delivery of Photo London, working closely with the Operations Director and cross-functional teams.
  • Vendor and Partner Coordination: Liaise with contractors, venues, and partners to negotiate contracts, obtain exhibition quotes, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Staff Management: Create staffing schedules, prepare briefings, and negotiate salary rates for on-site staff.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Design, Partnerships, and Exhibitions teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of the show.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and achieve event budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • On-Site Logistics: Manage on-site logistics, including PR or partner events, catering, and press mornings.
