Senior Commercial Forecasting & Planning Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Forecasting & Planning Manager to join our Commercial Development team and play a key role in driving our growth ambitions.

About the Role

This is a newly created role that offers a unique opportunity to shape the commercial forecasting and planning function within our organization. As a Senior Commercial Forecasting & Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading the delivery of commercial forecasting and planning strategies that drive business growth and value delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the commercial forecasting and planning function, ensuring close linkages with Finance and the P&Ls to inform and be informed for associated budgets and plans.
  • Coordinate the creation of the cross-functional annual growth plan, using business insights, market trends, and historic data to identify growth opportunities and achievable growth targets.
  • Identify opportunities and risks to the plan and work with channel and business owners to mitigate them.
  • Support and drive the annual Commercial Growth planning process as part of the broader UW planning process.
  • Develop and lead ongoing run-rate modelling and real-time re-forecasting processes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, particularly Finance, and deliver to the P&L in line with forecasts.
  • Drive organizational continuous improvement and change to support business growth and value delivery.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management and key stakeholders in the development of strategies and supporting each channel and service area in the development of its own forecasting capability.
  • Build the integrity of our commercial data, informing our routes to market and commercial choices.
  • Support/Run the weekly Trading meeting.
  • Lead and manage a team of one direct report and cross-functional support areas.
