We are seeking a dedicated and passionate **Specialist Paediatric Dietitian** to join our dynamic team. This rotational role offers the chance to specialize in areas such as gastroenterology, cystic fibrosis, neonatology, renal care, and oncology. You will also contribute to our acute wards and outpatient services.

Our Paediatric Dietetic Service comprises 30 registered dietitians across four key sites: Royal Hospital for Children, Royal Alexandra Hospital, Inverclyde Royal Hospital, and the Vale of Leven Hospital. The Royal Hospital for Children is a renowned national and tertiary referral center for a wide range of pediatric specialties.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with Lead Dietitians, medical professionals, nurses, and other allied health professionals. You'll benefit from excellent peer support and ample opportunities for professional development. Funding may be available for BDA post-registration paediatric modules, and you'll have the chance to participate in the Scottish student clinical placement program.

Essential Requirements:

  • BSc in Dietetics or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the HCPC
  • Demonstrated core knowledge of nutrition and growth
  • Relevant work experience and postgraduate training in paediatrics or other acute specialties, such as complex nutrition support
