Position: Specialist Paediatric Pharmacist (Rotation)

Salary: Band 7, 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative pharmacist to join our esteemed team at NHS Scotland. As a Specialist Paediatric Pharmacist, you will be instrumental in delivering safe and effective pharmaceutical care tailored to our younger patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a committed team in a dynamic tertiary teaching hospital environment.
  • Provide expert clinical pharmacy services across various paediatric specialties.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior pharmacists, fostering their professional growth.
  • Participate in the modernization of services and contribute to e-health initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent qualification.
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Progressing towards a postgraduate qualification or Independent Prescribing qualification.
  • Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and completion of a Vocational Training Scheme or equivalent experience.
  • Possess a positive attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a readiness to innovate.

While prior experience in paediatrics is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. The role involves a flexible working pattern, including weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and on-call shifts.
