About the Role

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Pharmacist at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the department's Pharmaceutical Quality Systems (PQS) with a focus on PET radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Support the radiopharmacy team with day-to-day operations, including dispensing and quality control of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Perform autologous radio-cell labellings and support the provision of an in-vitro laboratory service.
  • Act as an IR(ME)R Entitled Authorised Pharmacist and deputise for the accountable pharmacist in their absence.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmacy Council (GPhC).
  • Postgraduate Diploma/MSc or equivalent advanced professional practice knowledge, training, and experience.
  • Flexible approach to work and availability to start at 07:00.
  • 37 hours per week over a 5-day week, with no on-call or weekend working.
