Job Summary:

NHS Scotland is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, promoting equality and eliminating unlawful discrimination. Our goal is to have a workforce that truly represents the community we serve, where each employee feels valued and empowered to excel.

We are dedicated to supporting candidates with disabilities, long-term conditions, or neurodivergent needs by making reasonable adjustments to our recruitment process and practices.

About the Role:

We are seeking two highly motivated and enthusiastic Radiographers to join our team in the Paediatric Imaging Department at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates to develop their knowledge and skills in paediatric radiography, working with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborating with a range of imaging modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Image and care for paediatric patients, as well as support adult imaging as required.
  • Contribute to out-of-hours and weekend working, with on-call duties as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the radiography team to achieve high-quality patient care and imaging outcomes.

Requirements:

The successful applicants will be required to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not already a member, an application will be made to Disclosure Scotland, and the post holder must be deemed satisfactory before commencing in the role.

Working Arrangements:

NHS Scotland is transitioning to a 37-hour working week, with no change in pay. This reduction will be applied pro rata for part-time staff. However, some service areas may require temporary adjustments to working patterns, which will be discussed with the successful candidates.
