About the Role

NHS Scotland is committed to providing high-quality patient care, and we are seeking a skilled Radiographic Departmental Assistant to join our team.

This is a part-time position that requires the post holder to provide direct specialist clinical support, maintain specialist equipment, and ensure a high-quality imaging environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with Radiographers and Radiologists to assist during various imaging examinations, including Radiographic, Mammographic, MRI, CT, Radionuclide, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopic examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct specialist clinical support to Radiographers and Radiologists during imaging examinations
  • Maintain specialist equipment and the imaging environment to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Work collaboratively with the radiology team to ensure smooth operation of imaging services
