Job Title: Radiographer (LC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiographer to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations, assisting Radiologists during radiographic/interventional examinations, and providing direct care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic examinations to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Assist Radiologists during radiographic/interventional examinations
  • Provide direct care to patients, including explaining procedures and providing emotional support
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • Registration with the relevant professional body
  • Experience in radiography or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
