Our highly successful and progressive client, ROSE & YOUNG RECRUITMENT LTD, is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background developing sales through a distributor network, specifically within automotive factors, agriculture dealers, tool shops, or industrial dealers.

The role reports directly to the Regional Manager and offers opportunities for progression within the company.

Candidates must be able to manage a portfolio of clients, acquire new business, and maintain and develop client relations. Examples of successful networking and client relations will be required.

Duties:
  • Visiting distribution prospects and customers as part of a structured plan to develop the area
  • Prospecting new accounts
  • Presentation of products and sales promotions to distributors to encourage repeat business
  • Provision of sales training to distributor sales teams
  • Seeking new distributors
  • Capture of competitive information
  • Social media communication
  • Management of diary
  • Compilation of reports
  • Stay up-to-date with industry changes and technology
  • Work towards sales targets
  • Attendance at sales meetings
