Job Title: Advertising Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advertising Sales Manager to join our team at Zero Surplus. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our client base.

About the Role:

This is a complex sales role that requires a deep understanding of the scientific and technical industries. You will be working with a portfolio of media and advertising brands to target Tier 1 businesses seeking engagement with scientists, technical experts, and buyers across the globe.

As a sales manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver sales results
Key Responsibilities:

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Selling branded content, round tables, webinars, podcasts, data, email campaigns, and banner advertising
  • Targeting and closing new business across set demographics of companies
  • Managing a pool of existing clients for renewals and growth
  • Developing and executing sales plans to meet revenue targets
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in B2B media sales
  • Strong understanding of the scientific and technical industries
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
