Spire Nottingham Hospital is recognized for its outstanding care and is dedicated to providing exceptional service from the initial patient contact through to post-treatment follow-up. Our modern hospital features 42 private ensuite rooms, multiple operating theatres, a critical care unit, and comprehensive diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering care in a fast-paced, nurse-led pre-assessment environment alongside experienced anaesthetists.
  • Evaluating pre-operative patients to ensure they are fully prepared for surgery, including reviewing blood results and ECGs.
  • Providing high-quality care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Conducting Electronic Pre-Operative Assessments with comprehensive training provided.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified nurse with experience in pre-operative assessment settings.
  • Valid NMC pin with no restrictions.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to enhance patient assessment and clinical decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in computer use and confident in conducting assessments remotely.
  • Pre-Assessment qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
