Spire Nottingham Hospital is recognized for its outstanding care quality and is equipped with modern amenities, including 42 private en-suite rooms, multiple operating theatres, a critical care unit, and advanced diagnostic facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Main Duties:
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, nurse-led pre-assessment service alongside experienced anaesthetists.
- Conduct thorough assessments of pre-operative patients to ensure optimal readiness for surgery, including reviewing blood results and ECGs.
- Deliver exceptional care to patients preparing for surgical procedures.
- Perform Electronic Pre-Operative Assessments with comprehensive training provided.
- Engage as part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and consultants.

Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Registered nurse with experience in pre-operative assessment settings.
- Valid NMC pin without any conditions or restrictions.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to enhance patient assessment and clinical skills.
- Proficient in computer usage and capable of conducting assessments via telephone.
- Pre-Assessment qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
