Role Overview:

As the Global Marketing Manager for IoT Solutions, your primary objective is to enhance product performance through strategic branding, messaging, and external communications that resonate with our target demographics. You will gain insights into our clients' requirements and challenges, transforming these insights into engaging product narratives that set us apart from competitors, while continuously assessing the market landscape and adjusting our strategies to ensure ongoing success.

The materials you create will empower our Global and Regional sales and marketing teams to effectively convey the value of our offerings to clients of all sizes, from small offices to multinational corporations, across diverse global markets, enabling us to thrive in a competitive environment.

As a vital member of the Global Marketing team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in Marketing, Product Management, Go-to-Market strategies, Sales, Strategic Partnerships, Analyst Relations, and other key stakeholders within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute the annual Marketing Strategy for our Global IoT Solutions portfolio.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert in understanding the needs of portfolio buyers and the Decision Making Unit (DMU), along with their challenges and motivations for product acquisition.
  • Identify our competitive advantages and market opportunities through comprehensive knowledge of customers, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Establish our unique positioning, messaging, and product nomenclature for all offerings in the portfolio through collaborative efforts.
  • Develop and oversee the creation of customer-facing content, thought leadership, and marketing materials that Sales and Marketing Teams require to effectively communicate our value proposition and drive sales.
  • Distribute Positioning, Messaging, and Content Toolkits to Group and Local Sales and Marketing Teams, optimizing their usage and activation.
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned projects.
  • Present to senior stakeholders and key partners as necessary.
  • Maintain a current activity calendar and reporting for all marketing initiatives.
  • Manage all activities within established budgets and timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in technology product marketing.
  • Deep understanding of the global IoT Solutions market, including opportunities, key players, and emerging trends.
  • Familiarity with buyer segments, their needs, and purchasing processes.
  • Proven experience in creating marketing content aligned with buyer requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on outcomes.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple tasks and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to distill complex information into clear, understandable messages.

Additional Information:

  • Experience in Product Marketing is advantageous.
  • A degree or marketing qualification is desirable.
  • Knowledge of IoT Solutions technologies is essential.
  • Excellent written communication, presentation, and storytelling skills are required.
