Housing Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join Karter Thomas Ltd as a Housing & Customer Engagement Manager. This is a permanent vacancy, but we also welcome applications for a temporary to permanent opportunity.

This role requires previous experience in a managerial position within the housing sector and a CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing or above, or a commitment to commence within 12 months.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing housing management services, including tenancy management, neighbourhood management, anti-social behaviour services, caretaking services, arrears control, and lettings.
  • Developing and implementing a range of customer engagement activities to ensure that customer voices are being listened to and acted upon, resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Performing the role of safeguarding lead, ensuring the well-being and safety of customers.
  • Monitoring and improving service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Reviewing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to facilitate efficiencies in working practices and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Overseeing the delivery of rent collection and arrears services, ensuring accurate account maintenance, adherence to arrears policies and procedures, and supporting customers to maximize their income and manage debts.
  • Liaising with the Development and Property Services teams to ensure awareness of maintenance issues and activities affecting tenants, and supporting customer engagement on relevant matters.

The ideal candidate will possess a Basic DBS check, a driving license, and experience with Dynamics would be beneficial.
