This role requires previous experience in a managerial position within the Housing sector and a CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing or above. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of housing management services, including tenancy management, neighbourhood management, anti-social behaviour services, caretaking services, arrears control, and lettings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of customer engagement activities to ensure that customer voices are being listened to and acted upon, and high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained. This will involve:

  • Providing housing management services, including tenancy management, neighbourhood management, anti-social behaviour services, caretaking services, arrears control, and lettings
  • Developing and implementing customer engagement strategies to improve customer satisfaction
  • Performing the role of safeguarding lead and ensuring the team is aware of maintenance issues and activities of the Development and Property Services teams
  • Overseeing the delivery of rent collection and arrears services, ensuring accounts are properly maintained, arrears policies and procedures are followed, and customers are supported to maximise their income and manage debts
