Location: Central London

Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 DOE

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Associate Category Manager. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of suppliers, developing strategic supplier and category plans, and analyzing event and category performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a large portfolio of suppliers, building strong relationships and negotiating favourable terms.
  • Develop strategic supplier and category plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Analyze event and category performance, identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes.
  • Conduct competitive and product category analysis to evaluate market trends and identify new suppliers.
  • Drive relationships and collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and fill assortment opportunities.
  • Enthusiastically negotiate for favourable terms with suppliers, including selection, pricing, and promotions.

Requirements

  • Top-notch interpersonal skills and exceptional analytical abilities.
  • A passion for building relationships and driving business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze complex data.
  • Experience in buying, category management, or product management.
