Warrants Migration Business Analyst

PURVIEW is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a focus on the Financial Sector to join our esteemed Tier 1 banking client. The primary objective of this role is to facilitate the migration of the existing Warrants business from one entity to another. Currently, this business operates on localized systems, and the goal is to transition it to our Global Post-Trade platform. The selected candidate will engage in various phases of the project lifecycle, from gathering requirements from operational teams to converting them into IT functional specifications, as well as participating in testing, migration, and implementation phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an IT Business Analyst with strong consulting capabilities, collaborating with business units to elicit requirements and propose solution alternatives. The ideal candidate will excel at converting business needs into technical specifications.
- Collect business requirements, conduct thorough analyses, and create corresponding functional specifications.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, testers, and diverse end users to ensure both functional and technical compatibility, as well as user satisfaction. Must be adept at managing all aspects of requirements in consultation with business and IT teams across multiple regions, and be flexible with working hours as necessary.
- Engage in extensive System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, managing both technology and business stakeholders.
- Assist in training relevant teams prior to the launch of new business processes, products, functionalities, or applications.
- Develop implementation strategies, timelines, and go-live plans.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably recent, in Equities Post-Trade platforms.
- Up to 12 years of overall industry and Business Analyst experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Warrants and related asset servicing components.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, including requirements gathering, SIT/UAT, and migration strategies.
- Proficient in collaborating with technology development teams during the build and implementation phases of requirements.
- Experience in drafting UAT Test Plans and/or Test Scripts, along with overseeing the user testing phase of projects.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with the Asset Servicing domain, particularly corporate actions.
Previous experience working with Finance Teams in the Back Office sector.
