IT Business Analyst for Financial Services

Position Overview: TEKsystems Global Services is collaborating with a prominent Tier 1 bank seeking an IT Business Analyst to facilitate the transition of their existing Warrants operations to a new business entity. This role encompasses participation in all phases of the project lifecycle, from gathering requirements from operational teams to converting them into IT functional specifications, as well as engaging in testing, migration, and implementation stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive involvement in Equities Post-Trade platforms.
- Deep understanding of Warrants and related asset servicing components.
- Experience managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, including requirements gathering, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and migration strategies.
- Collaboration with technology development teams during the build and implementation phases of requirements.
- Proficient in drafting UAT Test Plans and/or Test Scripts, along with overseeing the user testing phase of projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the Asset Servicing domain, particularly corporate actions.
- Previous experience working alongside Finance Teams within Back Office operations.
- Knowledge of the Syn Back Office system.
