Business Analyst Role Overview

As a Business Analyst at Law Business Research, you will play a key role in our company's financial planning and analysis processes. You will work closely with senior staff members across all divisions of the company, building out robust financial analysis, forecasts, budgets, and models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with multiple executives and their teams to provide analysis, insight, and to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Develop annual budgets, half-year reforecasts, and 3-year financial plans.
  • Gather data from multiple sources, consolidate, and analyze.
  • Support the preparation of financial models and business cases to assess investment opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis and effectively frame choices.
Requirements
  • 2+ years relevant experience with solid knowledge of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills.
  • SaaS/recurring revenue business models.
  • Part-Qualified (CIMA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent).
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
