Position Overview: TEKsystems Global Services is collaborating with a prominent Tier 1 financial institution seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst. This role focuses on the transition of their existing Warrants operations to a new business entity. You will play a crucial role throughout the project lifecycle, engaging in requirements gathering from operational teams and translating these into functional IT specifications. Your involvement will extend to testing, migration, and the go-live phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with operations teams to identify and document business needs.
- Translate operational requirements into clear IT functional specifications.
- Participate actively in the testing phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop UAT Test Plans and Test Scripts, overseeing the user testing process.
- Collaborate with technology development teams during the build and implementation phases.
Essential Qualifications:
- Significant experience with Equities Post-Trade platforms.
- Thorough understanding of Warrants and related asset servicing processes.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Experience in formulating migration strategies for go-live events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the Asset Servicing domain, particularly corporate actions.
- Previous experience collaborating with Finance Teams in Back Office operations.
- Knowledge of the Syn Back Office system.
